Riad Chergui reminded me of an oasis in the midst of bustling Marrakech. The location provided easy access to the souks and main attractions. Arriving at the riad was smooth. I was greeted warmly and guided to my room. The decor was charming, and each space felt serene. Fresh pastries at breakfast were good, especially the Moroccan pancakes. Evenings by the pool were relaxing, with comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, especially Abdu, were really nice to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room, although cozy, had a low bathroom ceiling which was a bit inconvenient. It felt cramped, but the comfort and cleanliness of the room made up for it. Wi-Fi was strong. Riad Chergui captures the essence of Moroccan hospitality, with a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement nearby. I look forward to returning soon!

Emmanuel was the loveliest host, incredibly helpful and engaging and the staff were also very friendly and helpful. She was able to help and advise on everything to assist us with our stay. The Riad itself is really beautiful - a real oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of the Medina. It is very well located as it is about a ten minute walk to Jamaa El Fna and located down a quiet back street but only a few minutes walk from the action (Soukhs etc). The breakfast by the pool was delicious and it was nice to be close to the centre but also to have somewhere quiet to come back to and relax by the pool with a book. I would highly recommend this Riad and if we return to Marrakech there is no doubt we would visit again.
Nothing - it really was excellent.

The double room I booked was beautifully decorated. Got extremely comfy bed and a fireplace, central heating and a work desk. Location: the hotel was right by the main square, the numerous souks, and Riad Chergui for a girls weekend away. The staff members were outstandingly accommodating...

The breakfast selection was fantastic, especially the must-try French toast!
The bathroom ceiling was quite low, difficult for taller guests to stand comfortably.

Very friendly and efficient staff for whom nothing was a problem. A well managed and beautiful Riad. Well appointed and quite luxurious. A cool, peaceful haven in a hot and bustling City. I would recommend the Riad Chergui to anyone intending a visit to Marrakech.

The lady that runs the Riad is really friendly and tries to make you feel at home and ensures that you are comfortable. The Riad is very central to all most of the sites
2 very minor things (that would not be considered if I were to go back to Morocco) ~ the wifi in the room was very weak and we sometimes had to stand in the passage to pick up signal ~ the (single) beds were very narrow

The large pool area was fantastic, nice for both relaxation and fun.
The room ventilation could have been better, as it tended to get smokey when the fire was lit in the common areas.

Beautiful riad, with beautiful pool and lovely and attentive staff.. Great location, walking distance to main square but away from the noise..

missingWrote a review on 20 Octcozy atmosphereconvenient accessnarrow street
The breakfast area had a crackling fire during chilly nights. The location, while initially tricky to find, offered easy access to nearby attractions.
Located on a narrow side street, finding the place required help from local kids who expected tips. The room ventilation could be better. It became smokey when the fire was lit, which might bother sensitive guests. The bathroom setup lacked essentials typically expected in this region, leaving some guests unprepared for their needs.

The staff were very good, and nothing was too much for them to organise - like breakfast at 4.00am so we could make our early morning flight. The breakfasts were both leisurely and enjoyable.
Although we booked the cheapest room, and the food and drink were very good value, the basic B&B cost was quite high.

We had a savoury breakfast with the sunny roof top and pastries, for example served.
